It is a perfect location for exploring the many interesting sites in Deerness i.e. The Gloup, Mull Head Reserve, Covenanters Memorial and the Brough of Deerness. There are several beaches nearby and a well-stocked shop and post office within 2 miles. It is also a good place from which to explore the rest of Orkney.
